At the Practical Matters conference at Emory University in March 2018, four graduates of Emory\u2019s <\/em>Initiative in Religious Practices and Practical Theology<\/em><\/a> shared their \u201cbig idea\u201d for the study of religious practices. <\/em>Practical Matters Journal is proud to publish each of these videos in full, including one by Rev. Dr. Gregory C. Ellison, below.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Author of Fearless Dialogues: A New Movement for Justice<\/em> and founder of a nonprofit organization by the same name, Ellison poses difficult questions about the future of a world if we could see and hear those \u201cwho are screaming from the shadows.\u201d Embodying the vulnerability that he invites, Ellison interweaves his research and his biography with audience participation in order to discuss and perform a fearless dialogue.
